Dr. Kolesnik is a board-certified neurologist with over 20 years of experience in providing care for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions, with special expertise in the treatment of seizure disorders. Additionally, he specializes in sleep disorders and is board-certified in sleep medicine. A graduate from Saint Petersburg Pavlov State Medical University, he completed his residency training in neurology and fellowship training in neurophysiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He previously spent years working at an academic hospital and teaching future neurologists, and rest assured that he currently reads all EEGs, EMGs, and sleep tests performed for our patients. He believes in spending time with each patient and tailoring a plan to suit their needs.
